Plant description
A tall, elegant herb with finely divided aromatic foliage, which emerges bronze-purple but becomes more glaucous as it matures. An open, feathery appeal and dark colouring make it suitable for mixing with most shades of purple, pink and red. Primarily grown its foliage, ‘Purpureum’ also produces flattened clusters of yellow flowers followed by aromatic seeds. Tolerant of coastal conditions, this tall herbaceous perennial will thrive in moist but well-drained soils in a sunny position.
