Hosta ‘Happy Dayz’

An energetic and vibrant sport of ‘Orange Marmalade’ suitable for pots as well as reliably moist, humus rich borders. With splashes of lemon yellow, edged with lime-green, down it’s ribbed, heart-shaped leaves, ‘Happy Dayz’ keeps rock-and-rolling with a glaucous-green margin, all night long. Tall, lilac-lavender flowers reach 80cm in midsummer before the yellow centred leaves pale to a parchment colour to round off the season. A beautiful companion for yellow and white Aquilegia, Trollius, or foliage ferns.
