Pear ‘Beurré Hardy’

Regarded by many to be one of the best dessert pears, it produces medium to large, juicy fruits with tender flesh that are ready to harvest from early autumn. This is a hardy cultivar that has some resistance to scab.

Garden care: Pears naturally shed a small quantity of the developing fruits in midsummer. After this has occurred thin out the remaining pears, leaving one pear per cluster.
